The University of Helsinki has about 70 employees in Lahti. They work mainly at the premises of Kiinteistö Oy Lahti Science Park (Niemenkatu 73, Part B, 15140 Lahti) on the Niemi campus. With the latest reorganization of the spaces, we can now offer so-called flexi workstations at the Science Park for occasional workdays to both University of Helsinki and LUT University employees.

Workstations are equipped with a screen, keyboard and mouse. The premises have UH’s wired internet, Eduroam wifi and print station. We also have a coffee room where you can heat food and meet other people.

If you are going to pop in for just a few hours or one day, you do not need to notify us in advance. You can get the key from the information desk of the property (part A of the building, the revolving door on the Niemenkatu side). Info is open on weekdays from 8 am to 4 pm. The key will be returned to the info desk on departure, after 4 pm to the info mailbox.

If you need a workspace regularly or for a longer period of time, please contact Minna-Maija Salomaa or Kaisa Vuorivirta first. You will receive the key and we will discuss other policies as well.

There is no booking calendar for booking workstations. The matter will be reconsidered if the facilities prove to be popular.

Take your laptop and head towards Lahti Science Park! The room code is B1-01-20.
