The Coordination Unit of the Lahti University Campus

The Coordination Unit strives to increase the regional impact of universities. The Coordination Unit:

CONNECTS the region’s professionals through its networks

COMMUNICATES about the research and development efforts carried out by the universities

PROMOTES the translation of new ideas into action.

The Coordination Unit of the Lahti University Campus is a service unit for the universities operating in the area. It handles the universities’ joint communication, service and lobbying tasks, in addition to organising events and gatherings. Through its operations, the unit brings together individuals, universities, interest groups and organisations, building bridges between the universities and the region’s business and industry. In this way, it helps translate new ideas into practice.

The Coordination Unit also works in close cooperation with LAB University of Applied Sciences in fields including communication, marketing and events for personnel and the general public. The unit is in charge of the coordination and activities of the Päijät-Häme LUMA Centre.
