EXAM for electronic examinations
Students can take electronic examinations in the EXAM facility on the Niemi Campus. The facility is located at Niemenkatu 73, room C 207. The facility is equipped with the Examinarium system, which enables students to enrol in examinations at their chosen time and complete the exam that the teacher has created in the system in advance. The EXAM facility is equipped with computers on which students take their exam, as well as with a recording surveillance system.
The facility has university-specific computers reserved for the students of LAB University of Applied Sciences, the University of Helsinki and LUT University. The facility also offers computers for students taking examinations offered by other higher education institutions (known as exam visits). A list of higher education institutions that participate in the exam visit scheme and allow for their examinations to be taken in the facility on the Niemi Campus can be found at https://e-exam.fi/exam-tenttivierailu/.
Students are always required to comply with the examination guidelines of their own institution.
